When you book an eye test: your name, contact details, preferred store and time. When you send us an enquiry: your name, email, phone number and your message.

The booking and enquiry forms also note the network (IP) address each request comes from. It is used only to stop spam and repeated submissions, and is cleared out automatically after two days.

Nothing is sold on this website and no payment is taken here, so we never ask for or hold card or bank details.

Prescription and clinical records are taken in store and held under our optometry practice records, not on this website.

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to count visits to this site and to see which buttons are used — booking an eye test, WhatsApp, calling a store and getting directions. We never send Google your name, phone number or booking details.

We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which sets cookies, so that Meta can tell us which of our ads bring visitors, show our ads to people who have visited this site, and let us know when someone books an eye test, sends an enquiry, taps WhatsApp or calls a store. We never send Meta your name, phone number or booking details, and it never runs on your booking link. You can control ads based on your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop processing it. Email myvision.ew@gmail.com and we will respond within 21 days.

Enquiry records are kept for two years.
